Poker is a card game where players make bets against one another to win a pot, or sum of all bets placed in a single deal. After each player has been dealt 2 cards (face down), there is a round of betting which starts with the player to the left of the dealer. This is followed by 3 cards being dealt face up in the center of the table (revealed to all players) which are called the flop.<\/p>\n
